Easter Celebration

Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge
April 11, 2009

The “Easter Egg-vent” at Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge should be a great time for all. Located behind the lodge, festivities will run from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2009. Kids 10 and under will want to join the Easter Egg hunt, beginning at 10:15. (Children will be separated into age groups for the hunt.) Games, activities and photos with the Easter Bunny also are planned.

Three dollars pays for your parking pass, but there is an additional fee for Bunny photos.

If you’re feeling hungry, the Mountain Cove Restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Call 770-975-0055 for reservations. According to the web site (www.friendsofredtop.org/Rates/restaurant.htm) children under age three eat for free.

Red Top Mountain State Park is near Cartersville, 45 minutes north of Atlanta, 1.5 miles east of I-75 exit #285. The Lodge is located at 50 Lodge Road.

Because this is an outdoor event that could be cancelled due to rain, be sure to double check if you aren’t sure about threatening weather.
