Spring at the Homestead

Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge
April 25 & 26

Spring at the Homestead at Red Top Mountain State Park and Lodge is a great event for all ages. Come to the Vaughn Cabin behind the lodge on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., for a taste of 19th century pioneer life. Spinning, blacksmithing, woodworking/carving, chair caning, open hearth cooking, quilting, candle dipping, etc. will be demonstrated out at the cabin, and there will be musicians. Children and pets are “most welcome.” In fact, kids are encouraged to come out and experience pioneer life.
